Rushpool Hall Holiday Park is located within the beautiful grounds of the Rushpool Estate in the wonderfully picturesque valley of Saltburn-by-the-Sea, North Yorkshire. Saltburn is where the Cleveland Way walk meets the sea. The Holidaypark is perfectly situated for visitors and their pets to explore both the North Yorks Coastline and the North Yorks Moors during their stay. The Holiday Homes are set in an elevated position to take in the breathtaking views down the magnificent Saltburn Valley.
Here you will enjoy some of the most breathtaking views you have ever experienced with all the wildlife and birdlife that comes with it (provided you can fit everything in that is!). Apart from Saltburn, a short drive south along the coastline takes you to Skinningrove, Staithes, Runswick Bay, Sandsend and Whitby the thriving fishing port where the famous explorer Captain James Cook began his seagoing career.
Walkers may wish to attempt the Saltburn to Staithes walk (8 miles/4 hours) following the Cleveland Way south along the clifftop paths. This walk offers some of the most dramatic sights ever and includes the east coasts' highest point at Boulby. One definitely not to be missed by you walking enthusiasts!
Birdwatchers will want to drive north to visit the South Gare and Hartlepool (Mecca locations among the ‘twitching’ fraternity). A short drive inland from Saltburn will take you directly onto the North Yorkshire Moors National Park where you can call at Guisborough, Castleton, Danby, Pickering, Helmsley, Rosedale and Sleddale to visit Medieval Castles & Abbeys, the Wheeldale Roman Road and the Iron Age hut circles settlement.
All these places are truly well worth a visit and will guarantee to make your holiday a great success!
